Mozaic Group Partners Celebrate in Costa Rica
The people who work at Mozaic Group Partners are some of the very best in the world at what they do, and they know their reputation and that of the company’s is only as good as the commitment they provide and the quality of the work they deliver. This is why Mozaic people have spent sub-zero winters in Moscow and stifling hot summers in Southeast Asia. It’s why they’ve missed family celebrations, holidays, special events and have postponed vacations. Some have been working in-country during violent political uprisings, others have required emergency medical care away from home, while still others travel onsite for several weeks and months a year.
Needless to say, such dedication to effort and results has made Profile client institutions raving Mozaic fans. But behind every success, there is also a great amount of understanding and support that comes from a Mozaic member’s family.
“Our people are rock stars and that goes for their families as well, which is why we look forward every year to providing a week-long, expenses-paid trip for all our members, their spouses, partners or significant others,” explains Marlon Lucero, Mozaic Group Partners co-founder and president. “It’s the company’s way to say thanks and also to bring everyone together to better understand and deepen their experience with the company’s culture.”
Since 2010, Mozaic has paid for a week’s retreat for members and their spouses or significant others to a locale that removes them from the cares and stresses of everyday life and work. Past years have seen the annual retreat take place in Cozumel, Mexico, and St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This year’s trip took the company to Costa Rica in May. In addition to airfare, lodging, food and transportation, the trips have included a variety of activities, which are also paid by the company. For example, the recent trip to Costa Rica included an ocean voyage on a catamaran, adventuring on ATVs and zip lining through forest canopies. There is, of course, plenty of time for relaxing on the beach as well as for traveling and experiencing the flavor of the local towns.
“It’s important for us to celebrate and come together as a company because to experience our culture is to understand what drives us as a group,” explains Marlon. “It’s important for our people to meet, to share our experiences as well as to relax, laugh, eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company.”
The destination for the 2017 trip is undecided, but Marlon’s thinking of shaking things up a bit. “Maybe it’s time we visit the ancient Inca ruins in Peru!”
